Getting To Full Recovery

After your first session (The Pain Screen™), further treatment is focused on recovery and strengthening. This session focuses strictly on treatment using special stretching and exercises during the stimulation. Because this is more efficient than traditional physical therapy, it may only take a takes a few more sessions before you are out of pain. Continuation is important so muscle strengthening will prevent recurrence.

We recommend follow up sessions to be concentrated in weekly or bi-weekly periods so the body reaches recovery quickly and remains in “learning mode”. Long delays only cause temporary setbacks because old movement patterns still exist and will re-energize the pain and movement dysfunction.

The Process

The right exercises are critical during the session in order for the muscles to be fully activated eccentrically and concentrically. We use Web Exercises™, an online library of thousands of traditional PT exercises, and may also prescribe Thai Sport Prehab exercises as well.

Because the muscles and nervous system is being stimulated at a high rate (up to 250 contractions per second), a 30 minute session can become quite a workout. The benefit is that muscles will be lengthened and released while nerve memory will be reprogrammed back to a “calm state”. The days of long painful PT is over.

After each session, the patient should get more relief and increased range of motion. They should also augment this therapy with Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, or IASTM. Once the recovery is complete, we recommend they return for monthly massage for maintenance and to join a Prehab Program to resolve any fundamental movement dysfunction

Pricing

Each 30 minute session costs $109. This is amazingly affordable when comparing it with others who charge $200+ per session. You can also buy a package of three for $89 per session.

How IT Works

Most traditional therapy focuses on our “physical hardware” — muscles, fascia, joints, and ligaments for example. Too often, our nervous system is overlooked or simply treated as a simple messaging system to our brain. However, it can and often does malfunction, especially after an injury, surgery, or even just a poor lifestyle.

The Neux system works on both our body’s hardware and software systems, which makes it extremely effective. There are many modes of operation and it does require a trained practitioner to make the most of this device.
